All Things: Florida Vacation

Hi Friends! Today is all things Florida Vacation! We just wrapped up our Spring vacation to Palm Beach and Orlando; which was oh so memorable! The time with my three Gs is always the best💙

This was our first time in Palm Beach and it was beautiful😍 I was excited to see the design and history of the area! As you probably guessed, Palm Beach gets it’s name from the palm lined beaches–ample coconuts that settlers found! Henry Flagler was the founder of the city, numerous luxury hotels in the area, and the 155 mile Over-Seas railroad project. I mention him because much relates back to Flagler.

Getting There
We flew IND✈️PBI
An early morning needs ☕️

Our Getaway
We stayed at the Historic Palm Beach Inn, a little VRBO apt. This was close walking distance to the beach, The Breakers- one of Flagler’s gorgeous properties, and restaurants.

The time ended up being oh so chill! We enjoyed swimming at the pool/beach and local cuisine in the evenings!!

Henry’s Palm Beach
Oysters here the first night🦪

Fountain Runs before dinner at
The Proper Grit

Lola 41°
@ The White Elephant
The White Elephant is an old favorite from Nantucket🤍 We hadn’t been to Lola in Nantucket (a stand-alone) so we were excited to try Palm Beach! The food was amazing and the ambience stunning😍

This was a lively dining experience, a fun atmosphere for sure!
Tapas style food–all quite delectable👌🏼

Grant took the gs to a little cafe several mornings for coffee. They met some friends and always seemed to come back with free pastries!

Our last morning in Palm Beach we had breakfast at
Swifty’s @ The Colony Hotel

We spent a little time, design shopping ⚜️

Then headed to Orlando for the second half of our vacation! The Gs have been talking about going to Disney so that was the focus of this portion…

We stayed at Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek.
A great place to stay, inside the Disney gate, but not All THINGS Disney!

More swimming, resort activities, and fun with new friends!

Most evenings we headed to Disney Springs for dinner!

Gentry James wanted to dance every time he heard the music at the free concert💙

Magic Kingdom

Wow, our day at the park was the best Disney experience I’ve had, to-date!
{And let’s just say I’ve been a time or two}
We slept in, worked out, ate breakfast and then shuttled over! Seriously, the best idea!!
We had a little rain but it was truly magical😉

We ran to the last shuttle for our resort, 11:20pm😅 Made it✔️

That’s a wrap to our Florida vacation🌴
