I am so excited to share Grayson’s nursery with you! This was such a fun project to complete, as I knew I would personally get to enjoy the finished project. #perksofthejob Once our gender reveal, baby showers, and traveling subsided in February I was able to focus my time to this nursery project! With living in an apartment and knowing that it was going to be a very temporary stay the thought had crossed my mind to keep the nursery pretty basic and not even paint. (Since of course it all has to be painted back when we move next year.) The thought didn’t last long, as I knew I wanted to make this nursery special for the upcoming arrival! 👶🏼
There were several things I knew I wanted and that’s a room that would be calming to both the baby and myself. Somewhere we could spend time together reading, learning, praying, and overall just a nurturing/soothing place! I wanted it to be light and airy with a neutral palette, and lots of textures that appeal to the senses! I decided on a basic sheep theme as I did want to envelope a child-like atmosphere but still keep the overall look classy. 😉
