Happy Fourth week🇺🇸 We started our celebrations last week with a picnic and a few other fun adventures. Of course another holiday = more reasons to celebrate!
Grayson and I had a mini picnic (not sure if lunch on the balcony counts as a picnic but we tried). I say mini because we simply had fruits and veggies–too hot for anything else!
Basically our picnic was a little like this…
festive attire, lots of munching, and serious faces

and then a little fun trying out the picnic basket (thanks Grant for the fun bday gift).

It was a great {hot} afternoon with Grayson Quinn💙
Our weekend consisted of a trip to Louisville, Kentucky (Friday-Sunday morning) to celebrate a friend’s 30th Birthday. Ending with a quick Sunday trip to Chicago, where we met up with friends from our Cali small group who were in for a wedding! #lotsofdriving
I wasn’t sure what Louisville had to offer but it ended up being a fun little adventure!! If you ever need a Midwest weekend getaway a few fun things to do here are:
Farmers Market— The fresh Blueberries were on point👌🏼 Grant enjoyed his breakfast sandwich and the weather was 🔥–we were scorching in the sun!

Whiskey Row— Definitely a fun area to take a distillery tour, even if you don’t like whiskey.
Galt House Hotel— Louisville’s iconic hotel on the river, a place to stay or just walk by for pics!

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory — A great photo op!
Big 4 Walking Bridge— Great views at night with all of the lights especially for the 4th!

A couple of fun eatery’s– The Sidebar for dinner and Quills for a quick breakfast/coffee.
In the midst of our 4th activities we met sweet Nora and Evelyn Fiechter who are absolutely adorable! (I didn’t even to think to take pictures, but they are precious 💜💜) Congrats Jay & Lynnae on your sweet twins!!
We spent the 4th at the lake! It was a beautiful day of relaxing in the sun and being on the water. Another enjoyable time with more friends and family!
Our Indpendence Day wrapped up with views of the fireworks from our balcony –Grayson loved them!! ❤

Hope you had a Happy Independence Day🇺🇸
{I can’t believe he is 16 months already #stillmonthcounting}

{Until Next Time, Stay Classy}
Love seeing and hearing of your adventures. Sounds like fun. sounding like Grandma Ripley now, wears me out, do it while you are young. Love you, Aunt Enid
