Happy {travel} Thursday! Our end-of-the summer family vacation was to Martha’s Vineyard {MV} and Nantucket. We can’t stop dreaming of our time there! It was so much fun❤️ MV-was a new island adventure for all of us and Nantucket, Grant and I were so excited to introduce to the gs!! (Gentry had a sneak-peak in 2019 #pregnant)
Getting There
We started our Labor Day weekend with an early flight to Boston.
Rented a vehicle and drove to the Cape.
We waited for the shuttle to the ferry dock and took the Hy-Line ferry from Hyannis → Oak Bluff, MV. An Uber to the resort where we could barely fit our stroller & luggage, ha!
After the Uber experience we opted for a red Jeep! #sheepinajeep
If you aren’t familiar with Martha’s Vineyard, it’s an island 7 miles off of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It’s adorable! With 6 towns, all distinctively different, no traffic lights, all things outdoorsy, and an adventure for the family–especially the littles!
Accommodations
We stayed at Winnetu Oceanside Resort. {The definition of MV!} The resort was perfect for a family–so many amenities…
Our Getaway
It was a bit rainy upon arrival, but this didn’t damper the fun! The Gs loved the activities!
Life-sized chess, turtle-fishing, soccer, frisbee-golf, swimming, tennis, corn-hole, ping pong, a pirate ship, and more!
After our room was available, we freshened up for the evening and headed to Edgartown.
(This was by far my favorite town!)
We had a reservation at Alchemy for dinner! Having kids gets you a seat in the back corner, ha–but it was perfect! No one minded a few littles for their dinner entertainment⑅
Before our night was over we had a few laughs! #chappywrap
I love doing life with these 3😍
Day 2
A run on the beach, Pirate’s Ship, a dip in the pool, the beach–all the stuff and things!
The clouds cleared after a morning shower and we headed out for the afternoon! The Aquinnah Cliffs are a must see, gorgeous views {A “smaller” version of The Cliffs of Moher}!
After the cliffs we toured the island and made our way to Nomans in Oak Bluffs, for dinner! Few pics to show for but this place was so lively and enjoyable– outdoor games/seating, live music, and a great way to spend Labor Day evening! The food was so yummy too🙌🏼
Day 3
Our last morning in Martha’s Vineyard and it was another beautiful day! Brunch in Edgartown at an adorable cafe, Among the Flowers 🌺
Strolls along the Edgartown harbor and lots of duck watching!
A spotting of the Vineyard Vines boat 💚
Last minute fun in Oak bluffs before the ferry. The Flying Horses Carousel, the oldest platform carousel in America…

Next stop Nantucket ⛴
All of our Nantucket fun coming soon…
