Happy Wednesday!! I hope you had a wonderful Easter celebrating with friends and family, but most of all spending time in awe of our risen savior!
Our Easter celebration started Palm Sunday as we celebrated each day leading up to Easter! Hoping to make it special for Grayson Quinn– we read The Easter Story Egg (Bible stories pertaining to Holy Week) and opened the coordinating nesting egg along with it.
Last year we read this book to him too but let’s be honest he had no idea what was going on at 1 month old. #justhatched
So this year it was fun to see him interact a little more with the stories and eggs– even if it meant him just eating the eggs😂 #teething

Give & Take Wednesday

Last Supper Thursday

On Good Friday, we spent time with friends at the Botanical Gardens for their Easter festivities.
It was a fun afternoon with a mini egg hunt,

petting zoo

which started out fun
and ended in tears…
and then lunch at Junk Ditch {the lunch menu here is👌🏼}!
Saturday was a day filled with other festivities– celebrating my sister’s bridal shower
and our niece’s {cousin’s} first birthday🎉
On Easter Sunday we celebrated Christ’s Resurrection with our first service back at our home church–Emmanuel Community. {If you are in the Fort Wayne area and looking for a church, ECC is great and we would love to have you be a part!} It was refreshing to be back and exciting to reconnect with {past} community! We are thankful for the work God is doing at ECC and to be a part of it again!
After service, we celebrated with our little family as we completed the story egg with no egg for this day, to commemorate that the tomb was empty– Christ is Risen and I’m thankful for His sacrifice on the cross & the personal relationship I get to have with him!

Next was a little Easter basket fun with Grayson Quinn! {I bought these glittery eggs for decor and found that he loved to shoot them in his basket.}
So needless to say a mini hoop and basketball was part of his Easter basket gift🏀 Along with some other fun finds here!
The rest of our Easter Sunday was spent with family. Lunch with mine and dinner with Grant’s. {Sorry, no pics to show–just enjoying the day with fam!}
Happy Easter, He is Risen!
{Until next time, Stay Classy}
That photo of Grayson with his bottle – he so looks like Grant there. What a precious family you have.
