Warm Weather Favorites

Happy May🌷 Yay for sunshine and warmer weather☀️ It’s been a whirlwind the last couple of weeks with the whole #momlife thing.  Grayson Quinn is finally on the mend from a viral infection and we all are excited to be out enjoying life again! {I don’t know about you but for us when the doctor says he can’t be around people our normal routine quickly came to a stop and made for a much more crazy lifestyle of taking turns being at home. Thankful for good health!}

On a much happier note, I love the warm weather and all that it brings: laying out by the pool (which already happened for all of 20 minutes) fun eats, outdoor dining, picnics, walks, cute attire, and so much more! Here are some of our favorites!

I’m slowly learning how to pack less and less when we go to the pool or on new adventures but definitely still like to be prepared😉 A few pool favs are sunglasses, this large comfy pool towel–which is amazingly soft, a good read–Capital Gaines is the current choice👌🏼, a magazine to just flip through aimlessly, and of course some sunscreen–My favorites for the face, tanning, and regular!

A few for Grayson Quinn are: A small toy and book to keep him occupied (that is if he isn’t entertained by the trees, birds, and others around) sippy with water, and a snack (again if eating the dirt or sticks he finds lying around doesn’t fill him up).  No joke he continued to eat this nasty piece of something while we were out the other day.  #boys  I love this sunscreen (doesn’t rub in the easiest, but works really well-keeping him from getting burnt, still allowing for some good tan lines💁🏼‍♀️) and of course a swim suit!

Outdoor dining is always a plus and definitely something that was in abundance in Cali!  Now we have to be strategic as to where to find them, a few of our favorites in the Fort Wayne area are:
The Deck • The Catablu Grille • Wine Down • Hoppy Gnome • Club Soda

We took advantage of the warm weather last week and headed to Scotty’s Brewhouse to enjoy a little outdoor seating once Grayson was feeling better!!

Speaking of getting out, we had a fun play date at the zoo with our friends Melissa and Mason.

I have a feeling we will be frequenting the zoo now that Grayson is a little older and loves being outside😎 {Last year he just slept through the entire thing!}

At first, he could’ve cared less that we were there but by the end (once his belly was full) he loved looking at the animals!

Such a fun way to celebrate the warm weather and try to help Melissa walk into delivery. {Which might have worked since they welcomed baby Sloane the next day💜 Congrats!}

And lastly, cute spring/summer clothing is always another fun favorite! I think shopping online can be difficult to find clothing (but still do it), especially when you order something and end up with a completely different looking piece.
