Wrapping Up 2019🎁

I can’t believe Christmas has come and gone– I hope that you had a magical Christmas with friends and family, celebrating the birth of Jesus. I know we did!

Today we are wrapping up 2019 with the rest of our “12 Days of Christmas.”

On the 5th Day of Christmas
we went to see SantaπŸŽ…πŸΌ

Let’s just say this was an unbearably cold day!! We ran out the door, definitely not prepared for what we were about to experience at the North Pole, ha! I didn’t realize it was the coldest day this winter and while others were in snowsuits we barely remembered our hats.

A friend had recommended this Santa Experience where you ride a train from the farm out to see Santa. So we tried it out!

We kept our adventure short due the freezing temps but this could be such a fun place to go when it’s a bit warmer!

They have a Christmas Tree farm to cut down your own tree

an animal farm– with reindeer & much more

games, activities, and a little general store with crafts and ornaments.

We took the train out to see Santa

and were so thankful for a heated cabinπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Grayson was speechless when he saw Santa–he stared the entire time! Not sure if he was scared or frozen?!

On the 6th Day of Christmas
we made treats for our neighbors’ Christmas gifts 🎁

Then we delivered them…

On the 7th Day of Christmas
we looked at Christmas lights in our pajamas.

On the 8th Day of Christmas
we visited Frankenmuth– “Michigan’s Little Bavaria”

Bronner’s Christmas Store was our first stop– a Christmas wonderland open all year round! Just in case you need a little Christmas in July.

Then we ventured to the River Place Shops. Samples and Santa for the win!

And finished up with dinner at Zehnders. This place was crazy! They seat 1100 people– where you sit banquet style. Family Style chicken is their feature. We happened to be there on a Sunday and they had a few other options available so opted for those instead. It was definitely an experience!

On the 9th Day of Christmas
we made a special Christmas meal.

This day got switched up a bit as our original plan was to take a meal to someone but we ended up having them over instead. This made for a fun Christmas Eve Eve celebration!

The menu for the evening:

On the 10th, 11th, & 12th Days of Christmas
Grayson had special gifts in his stocking.

Christmas Eve
We’ve enjoyed celebrating our Christmas on Christmas Eve in years past. Beginning with a candlelight service at church, this year at 242 Community and then dinner and gifts.

Grayson left cookies out for Santa in hopes of a few more surprises on Christmas morning!

Christmas Day

We celebrated with my family on the day of

and with Grant’s a few days later!

Well that wraps things up for 2019!
Wishing you all a Happy New YearπŸ₯‚ Excited for what’s to come in 2020.
